General Policies and Procedures Enrollment: - Please complete all forms enclosed in the enrollment packet, and return to the director prior to your child’s first day of attendance. An immunization record must be included at that time, however health forms may be returned to the center within 60 days of enrollment date.
Tuition: - Tuition is due on Friday for the following week. Payment is due regardless of attendance. The enclosed tuition agreement will further explain our tuition policy. You will find a list of days that the center is closed in this packet, as well as a center cancellation/delayed opening procedure.
Personal Items: - Outside Play is a part of our daily routine at Kidworks. Please be sure that your child has appropriate outdoor attire, often the mornings are warm, but the late afternoon becomes chilly! We ask that all children keep a complete change of clothes in their cubby (including socks) in case of spills or other accidents. - Mats are provided for toddlers and preschool children for rest time. Parents need to supply a crib-sized sheet and blanket (please no sleeping bags or pillows). Parents are responsible for taking the bedding home on Fridays for washing. Kindergarteners are not required to participate in rest time, and therefore do not need bedding. - Parents are responsible for supplying diapers and wipes for their infants and toddlers. - Please do not send toys to Kidworks with your child (with the exception of special “lovies” for rest time and show-and-tell days). Toys from home often cause problems, or may become lost or damaged.
Meals/Snacks: - Baby food, formula or breast milk will be provided by the parent, until the child can eat what is offered in our food program. We provide breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack to those children who are at the center at the times they are served.
Medication: - Medication will only be administered to a child at Kidworks if the medication is in its original container, and we have a medication authorization form filled out.
Safety: - All children, regardless of age, must be escorted to and from the building by an adult at drop off and pick up times. Kidworks Learning Center is a private nonprofit organization governed by a board of directors. Parental Involvement is encouraged and appreciated! |
